1. Authority:

The skipper has full authority on board, please follow all instructions.

2. Alcohol/drugs:

Harwich Harbour Ferry Services ltd has a very clear zero tolerance alcohol and drug policy, if a customer is refused to come aboard due to alcohol or drug influence we will not offer a refund or alternative date.

3. Privacy policy:

We do not store any of your card details, all details are transferred via sage pay. If you tick the box for newsletter, we send you an email as soon as we see pups or if we have to inform you about news or if we would like to offer you a discount code.

4.Refund:

We offer full refund on any booking which is cancelled 7 days before departure time.

5. Cancellation from Customer:

Please email harwich@sealwatching.co.uk your name, day and time of the seal trip to cancel your trip. We offer a refund if the reservation is cancelled 7 days before the booked departure time.

6. Cancellation from Seal watching Harwich:

We keep the right to cancel any seal trip at any time without further notice. We make sure we give as much notice as we can. If we have to cancel a trip due to technical issues we offer 100% money back.

If we have to cancel a trip or postpone a trip due to weather we offer a voucher for another day.

7. Accessibility

Unfortunately due to the age of our boat it is not accessible for passengers with disabilities. Please contact us before booking to discuss your requirements. We do not offer a refund on bookings made and then not used due to access issues unless we are aware prior to your seal trip.

8. Weather:

The seal trips depart from Harwich and go to Hamford water which means that we have to go into the open water for a short distance. If the skipper decides to cancel for safety reasons, we offer a voucher for another day.

9. Minimum passengers, type of vessel

If we have less then 2 customers on board, we keep the right to change the trip to another day or offer a refund. Due to complex organisation, we keep the right to change your booking to any of our vessels.

10. Gift Coupons:

Purchasing a gift coupon is easy. It can be done online. The coupon is 360 days valid.

11. Covid-19 policy

Facemasks can be worn while on board.

We provide hand sanitizer which must be used when boarding and before departure.

In case of any Covid-19 related cancellations we can offer a full refund if we can sell the used tickets/seats to other customers.

If we can not sell the tickets/seats we are able to offer a 50% refund.
